Video – The Importance of Repeat Customers

June 5, 2011 admin No comments

Why Lifetime or Repeat Customers are Crucial to Growing Your Small Business

In a Rush? Read the Video Outline Below:

So what is a satisfied customer actually worth to you and your business over a lifetime?

Are You Constantly Searching for New Business? - Too many small business owners overlook their current customer base in favor of chasing exclusively after *new* business.

This is a natural reaction to hard times and unstable growth. But it being on the “outlook” for new clients and customers can be very expensive!

Why Repeat Customers & Clients are Money-Makers! – They provide the immediate income (money now) that is the “bread and butter” earnings that all small companies need to survive.

These customers are the ones who allow you to keep the lights on, feed your family and cover your other basic expenses. If treated well they form a core base that can literally last a lifetime!

Repeat Customers Create Additional Income Beyond the Initial Purchase – Most repeat clients or customers buy more products and services than they initially intended to.

This is a natural part of the sales process – we all have been subject to the “Oh, what’s that? I gotta have it, too!” syndrome. These automatic combo sales add cash directly to your bottom line.

Repeat customers also provide testimonials of your good work or the quality your products – We all have been burned from dealing with unethical service people and buying junk products.

So have all your potential buyers!

Satisfied customers provide the necessary social proof or guarantee of service that boosts your company’s credibility. And without that credibility nothing happens – people buy from people they like & trust…

Repeat customers provide referrals and word-of-mouth marketing – Nothing beats a personal referral from a satisfied client or customer when it comes to growing your business.

Depending on the person, a happy customer can easily spread referrals for you to hundreds or even thousands of other people. Getting the “okay” from a trusted source can give a big boost to your company. And this can easily be the tipping point you need during hard times.

Repeat Customers Create Sustainable Profits - Repeat customers provide, long-term income (money later). A happy customer or client will use your products or services again and again. They will become real “fans”, not some “like-me-click” on a social network.

True fans are people who love what you have to offer and willing to spend money to obtain it.

And like the fans of such famous rock bands as the Grateful Dead or KISS, people who are crazy about you will FIND ways to keep doing business with you!

Take Away Tips…

  • Lifetime customers provide your business with immediate income
  • Lifetime customers bring in unseen revenue from extra purchases
  • Lifetime customers help boost your credibility
  • Lifetime customers help build the buzz about you
  • And most importantly lifetime customers give you a solid, long term business.
